I did not grow up in a wealthy family. My parents worked hard, managed every dollar carefully, and taught my brother and me the value of delayed gratification from a young age. Through their example, I learned that financial security is not built through luck, but through intentional decisions made consistently over time.

Over the years, I've witnessed how the absence of thoughtful estate planning—or plans created without fully considering a family's circumstances—can lead to conflict, uncertainty and consequences that could have been avoided. Those experiences taught me that estate planning is not simply about documents. It's about people, relationships and preparing families for what comes next.

For the past 12 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of individuals and families through some of life's most important decisions.
